Kidney Desk

A custom desk designed and built for the Föenander Gallery.

The tapered, voluminous table legs were made out of folded sheet metal. The curved timber top was designed with voluptuous curves, intending to be welcoming and allowing the desk to function as an independent island when placed at the centre of the space, during special occasions.  

Materials: Salvaged New Zealand rimu and powder coated steel.
